Strong communities need places to meet.
From our residents’ survey, we identified that that people want somewhere to meet – from the small drop-in activities to larger gatherings for family celebrations, you said you valued community spaces.
We have two partners organisations that provide community space, Stakeford and Bomarsund Welfare Centre, and West Sleekburn Village Hall, opposite the Foresters Arms at West Sleekburn which was replaced in 2018 by the Parish Council.
From Easter 2026 we are partnering with the Wesleyan Church and the Scouts to provide accommodation for community activities in the Guide Post area.
