The Parish Council encompasses the areas from Paddock Hall, West Wood and Bluehouse Wood in the west, along the Wansbeck river at the North as far as Castle Island and West Sleekburn to the railway crossing to the East, and as far down as the railway crossing on the Barrington Road to the South.
