Easter activities

New activities for the Easter holidays

As a keen gardener, I always look forward to seeing the daffodil displays around the Parish however this year I am pleased to champion another flower to brightens the garden which is the sunflower.   We are holding a children’s sunflower growing competition.  Sunflowers are easy to grow and ideal for children as they are colourful and impressive when they reach full height.  Kits are available from the Council offices.

We are also running a multi-sports camp during the school holidays for children 5yrs -12yrs.  Lots of different sporting events during the afternoon of Friday 22 April 1pm-3pm.  £2 per child.  This will become a regular part of our holiday activities if this is a success.

The regular Thursday youth club will be open during the school holidays too.
